The oak-shaded streets and mid-century architecture attract residents (you’ll see several Ju-Nel gems) but they stay for the walkability factor. Goodfriend and other restaurants are just up the hill and the jaunt to White Rock Lake is less than a mile.

Drivers tend to speed through the neighborhood as a shortcut between Peavy and Easton roads, which troubles parents and pedestrians alike.

Fun Fact

Oldtimers tell us that Eastwood was considered country living back in the ‘50s and ‘60s with dirt roads and a pecan grove.
