Sitting just north of Love Field, Midway Hollow is the more affordable alternative to the grander lifestyles found just to the east in Preston Hollow. No longer quite the secret it once was, new investment over the last decade has been transforming the face of the neighborhood that’s increasingly popular thanks to its location so near to the heart of the city.

The multigenerational neighborhood is a connected community that has experienced a significant amount of rebuilding and remodeling. Many residents enjoy its proximity to Central Market.

The recent housing market boom means more new families moving into the neighborhood over the past few years, which has made it hard to maintain the element of community. Some say it seems as though there are new faces every week.

Fun Fact

Clint Murchison Sr., the oilman and father of former Cowboys owner Clint Murchison Jr., built the oldest bungalows in Midway Hollow. They date back to 1945.
